Mechanical engineering
WITH A DELICATE TOUCH
Thanks to our many years of experience in mechanical engineering for precision mechanical assembly tasks, we have a high level of expertise and can realise both standard solutions and individual projects according to customer specifications.
We process wire in small and micro parts in a wide variety of forms on our systems.
Testing machines
SPECIALL DESIGNED FOR CRITICAL COMPONENTS
Components with curved surfaces, changing structures and highly reflective materials can be tested without any problems.
Wire & Glass processing
Our regular services also include the servicing of systems, equipment and tools as well as the maintenance, repair and servicing of Zorn Maschinenbau’s light bulb production. Our team is also happy to take care of the production of any kind of new equipment.
THE SOLUTION FOR
YOUR PRODUCT IN THE
Clean room
Our cleanroom cells were developed with the support of a test laboratory for cleanliness analyses. Topics such as dirt generation, cleaning, installation, integrated laminar flow boxes and guided exhaust air were the main components of this development.

Thinnest wires
precisely processed
The wire cutting machine is suitable for the production of wire sections. Depending on the intended use of the wire sections, they must be additionally straightened or further processed. ZORN Maschinenbau has developed its own straightening line for this task, with which the thinnest wires can be straightened. Individual products can be further processed in a wide variety of ways.

The art of flexibility
Flexible component feed
The flexibility was achieved by using several component bunkers. Each parts hopper can be used as a separate order hopper and can therefore store different parts.
Greater flexibility through the use of
several component bunkers
As an undefined number of components are conveyed when the light table is filled, there will certainly still be material on this vibrating light table at the end of the job. This must now be unloaded to process the next order automatically.
Once the camera recognises the empty table surface, the vibration light table can be moved to the next order hopper. This means that the entire set-up process is fully automatic. To achieve this, all recognisable components are picked up by the robot and placed back in the bunker. The bunkers were modified accordingly.
The separating platform including the camera are positioned in parallel, depending on the job selection. Different geometries can therefore also be fed into the same system. As there is always the possibility that non-grippable parts are lying on the vibrating light table, a further option has been created to empty the table. One side wall can be opened pneumatically, allowing components to be conveyed into an NIO container by means of targeted vibration.
